Spring School District Facts
- Serves approx. 34,000 students from the community of Spring, a small portion of Houston and portions of unincorporated Harris County
- Covers 55 square miles and is located 20 miles north of Downtown Houston
- 31 Campuses: one elementary school (grades PreK-2); 20 elementary schools (grades PreK-5); one intermediate school (grades 3-5); six middle schools (grades 6-8); two high schools (grades 9-12); and a High School Career Academy
Spring Texas offers residents a unique lifestyle due to it's central location to Houston, The Woodlands, Lake Conroe, and Magnolia plus offers quick access to the Mextroplex for thousands of job possibilities.
Shopping in the Spring/Woodlands area can only be described as the perfect storm, as The Woodlands Mall, and hundreds of unique retail shops abound in the area. Also for the shopaholic there is the "Old Town Spring", area which boasts dozens of specialty shops that offer anything for hand made soaps, jewelry, candles, quilts, and clothing, to such specialized items like Texas made wines, and custom made furniture to name just a handful of resources.
The City of Spring has something to offer just about anyone wanting to have an affordable quality of life, with quick access to the fifth largest city in the United States.
